Barone appeared in the fourth-season Seinfeld Episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham Chef who wanted Elaine Benes shoes. Barone was also a part-time cast member on Carol & Company, starring alongside Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone was also the husband of Carol Willick Ross Geller in Friends the first time she appeared. Jane Sibbett was her replacement when Barone quit Friends for a job that required longer time. She was a star on The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the initial season (1995-1996) as well as The War at Home in 2005 and 2007. Barone was also co-starring in Daddio. Barone is also known for her TV roles on Desperate Homewives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline, In the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show.
